It is with heavy hearts that we remember Fuaad, a beloved member of our Southwest Vet family. Since joining our team in July 2022, Fuaad quickly became the heart and face of our clinic—welcoming every client with warmth, kindness, and a genuine smile that made everyone feel at home.

Many of our long-time clients knew Fuaad as the first friendly face they saw when they walked through our doors. Their compassion, positivity, and ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on everyone they met. To our team, Fuaad was more than a colleague—they were a dear friend who brought light, humor, and comfort into our everyday lives.

Fuaad had a gift for bringing people together. Whether through book club, weekend gatherings, holiday celebrations, or simply spending time together outside of work, Fuaad created connection and community in a way that deeply strengthened our team. Their impact on our culture, our unity, and our morale is something truly special and not easily replaced.

Fuaad’s love for animals began early, working in shelters and discovering a passion for caring for them long-term. That passion carried through everything they did at Southwest Vet and was reflected in the way they cared for every patient and supported every pet owner. They also had a deep love for rescue animals, a reflection of the compassion and generosity they brought into every part of their life.

Fuaad lived authentically and unapologetically as themself, and that courage and self-expression made a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know them.

For the last year and a half, Fuaad faced immense health challenges with remarkable strength and resilience before passing on June 4, 2026. Throughout it all, they were surrounded by the love of family, friends, and this community.

Fuaad’s impact on our hospital and our community is immeasurable. Their kindness, warmth, and unwavering positivity will continue to live on in the way we care for our clients, our patients, and one another.
