Dr. Brittney Montana

Dr. Brittney Montana is a California native who found her love of animals when her kindergarten teacher gave her a rabbit named Leo. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of California Davis and went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University on the Caribbean island of St Kitts. She then fell in love with Texas when completing her clinical year of veterinary school at Texas A&M University. Dr. Montana's interests include pocket pet medicine, ophthalmology, emergency, and geriatric care.

Her passion for geriatric care began as her childhood dogs, Bailey and Poncho, began to age. She managed their chronic ailments with love and care until their ripe old age of 18. Having experienced first-hand as a pet owner how difficult it can be to manage senior pets, Dr. Montana is passionate about keeping geriatric animals comfortable, prolonging their quality of life, and educating clients.

Dr. Montana enjoys kickboxing, painting, and learning the ukulele. In her free time, she enjoys cozying up with her dachshund-mix Bandit, Caribbean cat Ozzie Pawsborne and her new rescue rabbit Houdini.
